Junior Golfer's Program

The Lindsay Linkster Program

"Welcome to a brand new season at the Lindsay Golf and Country Club."

We are excited to continue our Junior Program, the Lindsay Linkster. The program is geared to junior golfers with varying levels of golf experience.

The program is comprised of a combination of lessons/clinics and supervised play on the golf course. As in the past, the program will be provided to Junior members of the Lindsay Golf and Country Club, by the Club, so there is no additional cost to participate.

Back by popular demand is the Lindsay Linkster Pass – a mini membership available to your friends if they want to join in the fun! Passes can be purchased in the Pro Shop for $59.95 + HST.

How to Register

Call the Pro Shop (705 324 5662) by 6:00 pm on the Wednesday (3 days) before each scheduled clinic date.

You may register ahead of time for as many dates as you wish, however, any cancellations must be called in. Staffing for the program is organized based on the number of participants, so attendance/cancellatons are very important.

If you arrive for a session and you haven’t preregistered for that day, you will be allowed to participate only if space permits. This is for everyone’s safety!

If you’re using your Linkster Pass, please present it at the Pro Shop the day you attend to be punched.

What to Wear

Golf attire – collared shirts for boys, collar and/or sleeves for girls. No denim, please.

Running shoes or golf shoe; open-toe shoes are not permitted.

Hats and sunscreen – please make sure sunscreen is applied before arrival.

The Lindsay golf course tends to be very windy and will often feel cooler than it is in town, especially in the Spring. Keeping this in mind, it’s always a good idea to wear or bring a sweater or jacket.

What to Bring

Golf clubs, golf cart, water bottle, snack or money to purchase a snack from the club house or beverage cart. Pull carts can be rented from the Pro Shop for $5.00.  However, most junior-sized bags are too small and will fall off.

What Else?

Parents will be asked to complete a golfer information form at your first visit. If your child has any allergies, please notify the staff when you check-in.

Cancellations due to inclement weather will be determined by 11:00 on the day of a session.  Notifications will be posted on the Lindsay Golf and Country Club Facebook Page and Twitter; or you are welcome to call the Pro Shop after 11:00 to ask.

The Pro Shop will not be calling participants individually if a session is cancelled.

If inclement weather strikes during a session, the participants will be moved indoors and the remainder of the session will be cancelled.  Parents will be notified by text that the session has been cancelled.

Any questions or concerns may be directed to Shana Kelly, Teaching Professional at (705 731 7403 - call/text) or mskelly@i-zoom.net

Let’s have a great season!
